Catholic bishops and faithful of the United States,
on December 18, 2023, the day the apostate declaration Fiducia Supplicans was issued, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops committed a grave crime against the faithful Catholic bishops and against all Catholics in the United States.
Without allowing the bishops to decide freely, the USCCB organization published, on their behalf and without their personal consent, the acceptance of a new teaching containing the sodomite anti-gospel. This teaching denies the existence of the grave sin of sodomy. In doing so, it also denies the entire Ten Commandments – that is, God’s law – as well as Christ’s commandments concerning the moral sphere. Rather than calling for repentance, the new pseudo-doctrine of the heretical declaration Fiducia Supplicans blesses the sin of sodomy, which cries out to heaven.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God and our Savior, died on the cross for our sins. All who believe in Him and repent will be saved. Those who refuse to repent will be condemned (cf. Lk 13:3). Through Fiducia Supplicans, the sin of sodomy has been legalized. Jesus Christ died for our sins. However, if sin is denied, then according to Fiducia Supplicans, Christ died in vain! Thus, the so-called dogmatic declaration Fiducia Supplicans essentially rejects Christ as Savior.
In this way, Fiducia Supplicans rejects the essence of salvation and Christianity itself. This crime against Christ and the Church is not subject to any statute of limitations. Time plays no role here. The bishops of the United States have not done adequate penance for this crime. By accepting Fiducia Supplicans, they have approved this apostasy. Through their silence, they are reinforcing it, allowing it to spread further among the faithful. The bishops were drawn into this rebellion against God by a treacherous bishops’ conference. This serves as a mitigating circumstance for the individual bishops to a certain extent. The consequence of this crime is that God’s curse rests not only on the bishops of the United States, but on all Catholics as well.
This curse has terrible consequences for the life of all of America. It is God’s anathema – exclusion from the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church. If a bishop in the United States dies without repenting, he will be eternally damned. Christ’s words apply here: “Cast the lazy and wicked servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (cf. Mt 25,30)
If some cardinals and bishops claim that Fiducia Supplicans is merely a blessing for individuals and not a blessing for couples, Bishop Martin of Malawi responded to this immediately after the publication of Fiducia Supplicans. He said:
“Dear faithful, the document asks us to bless two people of the same sex as individuals, but not as a couple. So these two people of the same sex who the previous night slept together as a couple and present themselves to us as a couple are blessed as individuals, but they leave our presence as a couple… How could this not be changing the authentic teaching of the Church? … Some have said that we should not be ideologically rigid in our faith and in our pastoral work and in teaching of our faith. Instead we are being told and encouraged to allow our doctrine of the faith to change alongside ideological changes taking place in the world, social and political changes taking place in the world, so that the Church might be modern. … To all these accusations, our response is clear: Please keep your lies for yourself. You must judge for yourself, whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to such advice, ill advice, and to obey you rather than God… Our response is that we are not idiots. We know your ultimate goal, which I will not mention here; but we are not accepting this declaration.”
Dear successors of the apostles and bishops of the United States, by remaining silent and thus endorsing Fiducia Supplicans, you are betraying Christ. The apostle Peter committed a similar betrayal, and the apostle Judas an even worse one. Follow Peter’s example of repentance, not Judas’s unrepentance. Withdraw from the Judas-like Bishops’ Conference and retroactively reject the suicidal declaration Fiducia Supplicans. Do not let yourselves be made fools of, as Bishop Martin put it, and do not make fools of American Catholics either!
